The Kindness Rocks Project
Did you know that rock art painting has become a movement? It’s popularly known as “The Kindness Rocks Project.” The trend was started by Megan Murphy in 2015. The idea is simple. You just decorate a stone, make it fun by painting it with different colors and writing something inspiring and will spark joy and leave it or hide it in random places for someone else to find. This is for sure a fun and creative way to learn and practice kindness, positivity, and love through art.
Completely Cover your rock using some of your favorite paint colors, for example, a green color.
Once it dries, take the gold marker, and write some kind words, or anything that sparks positivity.
Take a silver marker and make some line details.
Then add some gem stickers to decorate it.
You can also add glitter glue!
For the final details, paint some lines and dots using white paint and a fine brush.
To make the next rock repeat the process. Paint the background with another color, for example, blue.
Let it dry, and when it’s ready, write some inspiring words, like “be you,” using some metallic marker.
Then add some details using another acrylic marker.
Embellish the design by sticking some shiny gems around the words.
Use the metallic gold acrylic marker to highlight the detailed lines.
At last, add glitter glue all over.
Mandala Art
Mandala means “circle” in Sanskrit. These are sacred symbols used in different cultures for meditation, promoting peace and tranquility, enhancing focus, bringing balance, and releasing negative energies while letting creativity flow in your body.
